BIOGRAPHY
A Spanish pianist, born in
Huesca.
She began her musical
studies at the age of seven at the Music Conservatory in Huesca. At the same
time, she studied with Miguel Ángel Tapia. At 21 years of age she received
three higher degrees: that of Professor of Piano, Chamber Music and Music
Reading in the Higher Conservatory of Music of Zaragoza where she
studied under the direction of Ignacio Marín. She continued her
piano study with prestigious world maestros, as well as taking numerous courses
in musical specialization.
Miss Cabrero has
always achieved excellent grades (among them six honor roll mentions) and
prizes at an academic level; in piano two Honor Prizes and an Honorable
Mention; in Chamber Music an Honor Prize and many prizes in national and
international competitions (“Gerardo Diego”, “Ciutat de Xátiva”, Torneo
Internacional, “Antón García Abril” where she has obtained
the unanimous jury selection for the special prize “City of Teruel” in the
International Piano Competition “Antón García Abril” (2010). She won a
scholarship of Ibercaja in the “Concurso de Becas para
perfeccionamiento de estudios musicales” (2001).
She has offered
numerous concerts in important Spanish concert halls (some of them: in Zaragoza,
Auditorio-Palacio de Congresos, Palacio de Sástago, Real Capilla de Santa
Isabel; in Huesca, Diputación Provincial, Palacio de Villahermosa, Palacio de
Congresos y Exposiciones de Jaca; in Madrid, Fundación Juan March; in
Cuenca, Universidad de Castilla La Mancha; in Granada, Auditorio de Santa
Fe, etc.) and also
collaborating with concerts in favor of the Spanish
Association Against Cancer and the Spanish Red Cross. In her concerts
she has interpreted music for solo piano, chamber music, piano soloist with
orchestra, sacred music, opera and the theatre, and his own works always receiving
excellent reviews and warm receptions.
Miss Cabrero played
the Concerto for piano and orchestra nº1 in Re Major KV. 107 with the Chamber
Orchestra of Huesca, by J.Ch.Bach-W.A.Mozart in the Excma. Diputación of Huesca
in may of 2010 with with great critical and public success.
She combines her concert activity with working
like Piano Teacher and Piano Accompanist in professional music conservatories
of Aragon.
